How it started
Applied Intelligence started with tools Omar built for himself: a short message every Monday morning with the week’s deadlines and who was waiting for an answer, dictation that turns his Greek and English into text on his Mac, and a check that shows in a minute whether a website works on a phone.
Then came the family. For the olive mill in Boeotia he built Buyer Scout, which researches buyers abroad, an assistant that answers questions about the business, a board for every buyer and sample, and a new website in four languages. Next came offplanathens.com, a site of his own for off-plan homes on the Athens Riviera, and then friends who wanted tools for their own work.
Each one was built around the way someone actually works, and each time he saw how much difference that made. In September 2026 he founded Applied Intelligence to build the same for other businesses.
